WATCH: Aftermath of Vehicle Ramming into Cyclists in Lower Manhattan



there are reports of multiple casualties after an incident involving a truck colliding with cyclists in lower Manhattan.

Emergency personnel rushed to the scene where shots a number people have reportedly been shot near Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan on Tuesday.

Police were investigating reports that up to four people were shot dead near the school. A witness, Frank Brito, told the New York Daily News that he saw the scene unfold, as two trucks crashed into each other and a “heavy-set man” got out of a vehicle and chased someone, firing at least six shots.

Unconfirmed reports say that one of the trucks rammed into a cyclist in lower Manhattan and there’s at least two dead people and “multiple people injured.”

The aftermath of the scene was captured and posted to Twitter in a video. It starts with a male cyclist laying down unresponsive in the cyclist lane while his bicycle is nearby. He’s being tended to by a male as nearby, other cyclists and bikes are seen laying on the ground.

Stuyvesant High School was locked down as a result of the incident, and streets around the area were closed.
