A goalkeeper for Salford City F.C. was sent off for the most bizarre reason ever. City’s Max Crocombe, 24, was sent off with three minutes remaining in his team’s game with Bradford Park Avenue on October 28 for urinating on the field. At the time his team were winning 2-1 and had used all three of their substitutes. When Crocombe was sent off, a midfielder, Richie Allen, went in goals. City managed to hang on for the win. During the game, City tweeted, “Crocombe sees red for something off the ball. No one has a clue what has happened.” While Bradford Park Avenue’s Twitter person was more on the ball tweeting, “We can confirm that Crocombe has been sent off for urinating during the game. We are not joking.”
