Game Studios Share Jobs as Visceral Games is Shut Down

EA is shutting down Visceral Games, the studio famous for creating the Dead Space franchise as well as other games like Battlefield Hardline and Dante’s Inferno.

EA Executive Vice President Patrick Söderlund said in a blog post that Visceral will be “ramping down and closing,” and that they are “in the midst of shifting as many of the team as possible to other projects and teams at EA.”

It’s expected that many of the people at the studio will be left without a job. However, many people in the games industry from studios including Treyarch, Avalanche Studios, Naughty Dog, Ubisoft San Francisco, Insomniac, Rockstar Games, Bungie, and more have shared their studio’s job listings in response to the closure.

Here is a Google Document with a long list of Game studios in need of developers created in response to the closure.

If any game studio is looking for people, be sure to share it on Twitter with the hashtag VisceralJobs.
