‘Christmas in Mississippi’: Meet the Cast of Lifetime’s New Movie

Christmas in Mississippi is Lifetime’s newest Christmas movie. The movie follows photographer Holly Logan as she returns to her hometown in Mississippi for Christmas.

Holly Logan’s hometown is resurrecting their traditional holiday light show after a 5 year break because of the devastation caused by a hurricane. Holly volunteers to help out with the light show, but has second thoughts when she finds out that her high school sweetheart, Mike, runs the show. Mike and Holly must spend the days leading up to the festival together. With the help of her mother and Mr. Kriss, Holly begins to fall in love with her hometown and Mike all over again.

Christmas in Mississippi is produced by Ken Badish and Daniel Lewis of Active Entertainment. The film is directed by Emily Moss Wilson and was written by Marcy Holland. Christmas in Mississippi premieres December 9, 2017 at 8 p.m. EST.

Jana Rae Kramer is an American actress and country music singer known for her role as Alex Dupre on the television series One Tree Hill. She began her career in country music in 2012 when she released the single “Why Ya  Wanna” on her self-titled debut for Elektra Records. Kramer competed on season 23 of Dancing With the Stars and finished in 4th place. Kramer was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan and attended Rochester Adams High School.

James Wesley “Wes” Brown is an American actor. He is known for his role as Luke McDonald in the second season of HBO’s series True Blood. The actor has also held recurring roles as Judson Lyons in Hart of Dixie, as Ryan Kerrigan in Private Practice and as Taylor in the 5th season of the CW’s 90210. Brown starred in 3 Hallmark Channel Films including Love’s Everlasting Courage and Love Begins in 2011 and Christmas Cookies in 2016. The actor has also made appearances in Once Upon a Time, CSI: Miami, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Scandal and Desperate Housewives. 


Faith Ford as Caroline

Faith Ford is an American actress known for her roles as Corky Sherwood on the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown and as Hope Shanowski on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith. Ford received 5 Primetime Emmy Award nominations for the role of Corky Sherwood. She began her acting career with a television role on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live and then had a role as Julia Shearer on the NBC soap opera Another World. She starred in the short-lived sitcom The Popcorn Kid and 5 episodes of thirtysomething.  Ford released a cookbook titled Cooking With Faith in 2004.

Barry Bostwick stars as the Santa Claus in the hometown light celebration. Bostwick is an American stage and screen actor known for portraying Brad Majors in the musical comedy horror The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1975 and Mayor Randall Winston in the sitcom Spin City from 1996-2002. Bostwick won a Tony Award for his role in the musical The Robber Bridegroom.
